Profile 834 is the santoprene version of profile 833. Santoprene gaskets last longer than our standard PVC gaskets. Compared to PVC gasket material, it is more durable and is rated to a higher temperature. While PVC gaskets are typically meant for refrigerators and freezers, santoprene can withstand the heat from a warming cabinet. Some other benefits of santoprene is that it stays harder longer and has less tendencies to rot. This profile is typically found on Silver King warming cabinets. This magnetic, dart style gasket is mounted by pushing the dart into the dart track of the cabinet.
