How do I reach customer service?

Can I change or cancel my order?

  • In order to cancel or change an order that has been submitted, you must contact customer service immediately.
  • Due to our quick fulfillment practices, we need to make changes before your order leaves production and is put into shipping status.
  • Orders on account can be updated as long as they are still in production.
  • Credit card orders must be canceled and refunded. If your order has been shipped, you will need to create a return.

When/why do I need to replace my gasket?

  • Gaskets can last up to a year or more with light use, but in a high-volume, busy restaurant, expect to replace them every 4-8 months.
  • It is easy to spot wear and tear like cracks, or anything else that is apparent with the naked eye. To be sure, we recommend the dollar bill test and the light test.
  • If you notice any change in performance, loose seals or can’t remember when you last replaced them, it’s probably time!
  • You need to replace a refrigerator gasket to maintain the proper seal, preventing cold air from escaping and ensuring energy efficiency.
  • A small investment in proper gaskets saves you a lot of money on wasted food and repairs/replacements for overworked appliances.

How do I clean my gasket?

  • Mix warm water with mild soap. Chemicals and bleach found in detergents can dry out your gaskets and cause premature cracking.
  • Wipe away debris with a soft cloth.
  • Clean the gasket with the soapy solution.
  • Use a soft brush for stubborn stains.
  • Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.
  • Inspect regularly for damage and replace if needed.

How do I measure a gasket?

  • Measure the gasket you are replacing from outside edge to outside edge for both the width and the height.
  • If the profile you are replacing has darts (a projection on the back of a gasket that fits into the track), you want to measure from the center of the dart to center of the dart, rather than edge to edge.

What kind of gaskets do I need?

  • We offer gaskets manufactured from 3 different materials: PVC, Santoprene and Silicone.
  • PVC is the most common and is suitable for most refrigeration applications. It is the least expensive and available in every common profile.
  • Santoprene has a wider temperature range and is used commonly in refrigerators and freezers. It is more costly than PVC, but also has a longer lifespan.
  • Silicone gaskets are renowned for their durability and wide temperature range. They can handle everything from freezers to ovens.

How do I measure a strip curtain?

  • Pick your bracket type: Quickmount for ribbed or Metal EZ Mount, Universal Mount, or Wall Mount for smooth curtains.
  • Measure width and height for your kit, ensuring a bit of extra length for adjustments.
  • Choose between cooler or freezer grade strip material based on temperature needs.
  • Install the bracket according to your chosen type and mount preferences.
  • Note: 6" wide strip kits have a standard overlap of 67%.
  • Wall mount and universal mount brackets aren't available in 1' and 2' widths; for these, buy a 3' kit and trim as needed.

How do I measure a cutting board?

Measure the short and long dimensions.

  • Short Side + Short Side Fraction = Total Short Side Dimensions
  • Long Side + Long Side Fraction = Total Long Side Dimension

Determine your edge and corner style.

Edge Style:

  • Standard - Most popular option, safe to handle, square finished edge
  • Bullnose (rounded) - Edges rounded to a 1/2" radius
  • Unfinished (saw cut) - Common on custom applications, square but not finished edges

Corner Style:

  • Standard - Most popular option, safe to handle, square finished corner
  • Rounded - Corners rounded to 1/2" radius
  • Unfinished (saw cut) - No finishing, sharp corner

Note: Custom cutting boards are non-returnable as they are made to order. Please double check your measurements as we will make it to the exact dimensions that you order

When will my order ship?

  • Gasket and strip curtain orders received by 2:00pm EST will be shipped the same day.
  • Gasket and strip curtain orders received after 2:00pm EST will be shipped the next business day.
  • Orders with custom cutting boards may require up to 2 business days for shipping.

My package is missing. What do I need to do next?

  • Contact us immediately to determine the necessary steps to track and possibly replace your order

What is your warranty policy?

  • We offer a 30-Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
  • If you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the gaskets you purchased, contact our customer service department immediately and we will do everything in our power to correct the problem.
  • If we cannot do this, we will authorize a 100% credit of your gasket's subtotal or an exchange for another product. We'll make sure you have a gasket that works for your unit!

How do I start a return or exchange?

  • Prior to returning any item please call us at 855-288-2259 or email support@coolergaskets.com and we will provide you with a return authorization. We will also inform you of any restocking fee to be incurred by the return.
  • Locate your order number! If you are unsure what your order number is, we can look up your order by the email address on file.
  • Contact us! Call us at 855-288-2259 or email us at support@coolergaskets.com.
  • Make sure to speak with a Cooler Gaskets staff member before mailing any item back.
  • Get a return authorization! Put this return authorization on the outside of the package or on a sheet and include it inside the shipment.
  • Return Special order products in their original box.

What is your exchange/return policy?

  • Returns within 30 days of order ship date are eligible for replacement, return or exchange. We look at each return on a case-by-case basis to determine shipping fee responsibility. The return may also be subject to a restocking fee of 18-25%
  • We cannot refund or exchange any gaskets from order ship dates past 30 days.
  • Any returns without an RMA#, issued COD, or freight collect will be refused.

When will my return/exchange be complete?

  • Once we receive your returned package, we match it up with the return request and initiate the refund. Please contact us before returning an item, because without the proper documentation we cannot guarantee a timely refund and the return will most likely be refused.

Can I exchange for a different item?

  • Yes. While we can work with you to refund or charge for a difference in two products, we find that it is usually a better option to initiate a new order and receive a complete refund for the original order

Do you ship internationally?

  • Generally, no. We can work on a case-by-case basis to determine if we would be able to fulfill your order. Most international orders we have shipped have been to Canada or Mexico.

How long will it take to receive my gaskets?

  • If we are able to accommodate your international order, we cannot guarantee a timeframe, but we will work to get it to you as quickly as possible, just like all of our orders.

Do I have to pay duties and taxes?

  • This is determined by the destination country and you will be responsible for all associated duties, taxes and fees.

Do you accept returns from international orders?

  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges for any international orders.
