Because many of our products are custom-built to order, we’ve outlined our policies below to ensure a smooth process and to help you understand what qualifies for return or exchange.
1. Eligibility Window
- Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the order ship date.
- After 30 days, items are no longer eligible for return, replacement, or exchange.
- Requests received after the 30-day period will be reviewed case-by-case but are generally not approved.
2. Product Eligibility
Not all items qualify for return due to their custom nature.
Eligible for Return or Exchange:
- Stock gaskets or accessories that are unused, uninstalled, and in resalable condition.
- Items that arrived damaged or defective (with verification).
Not Eligible for Return:
- Custom-sized gaskets, custom cutting boards, and any made-to-order products manufactured to your specifications.
- Products that have been installed, used, or damaged after receipt.
- Items returned without prior authorization (RMA).
Tip: Always double-check your measurements before ordering — all custom items are made to the exact dimensions you provide and cannot be restocked.
3. Return Authorization Required
Before sending any product back, contact our Customer Service team to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Important:
- Returns sent without an RMA number, freight collect, or COD will be refused.
- The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the package or included on a printed note inside the box.
4. Restocking Fees and Shipping Responsibility
- Standard returns may incur a restocking fee of 18–25%, depending on the product condition and reason for return.
- The customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a CoolerGaskets.com error or a verified product defect.
- Shipping fee responsibility is determined case-by-case at the time of authorization.
5. Condition Requirements
To qualify for a return or exchange, products must be:
- Unused, uninstalled, and in new condition
- Returned in the original packaging, including all hardware or accessories
- Protected during shipment to prevent damage in transit
Products that are damaged, installed, or improperly packaged for return may not be eligible for a full refund or exchange.
6. Refund and Exchange Processing
- Approved refunds are issued for the product subtotal only (excluding shipping).
- Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after inspection.
- Exchanges are processed once the return has been received and verified.
- You will receive an email confirmation once your refund or exchange has been completed.
7. Damaged or Defective Products
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact Customer Service immediately — do not discard packaging or product.
- Provide photos of the defect and the shipping box for review.
- Once verified, we’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost.
